How do CosmoDerm® and CosmoPlast® work?
CosmoDerm® and CosmoPlast® are injected just underneath the skin’s surface to replace the layer of collagen.
What do CosmoDerm® and CosmoPlast® feel like?
CosmoDerm® and CosmoPlast® are injected with a fine needle, so there is a slight pricking sensation. However, the injections are formulated with Lidocaine which numbs the skin and minimizes discomfort. An anesthetic cream may also be applied around the injection site. |

How long will the results of CosmoDerm® and CosmoPlast® last?
The results appear immediately and can last from three to six months. After this time, additional treatments are necessary to maintain results.
Are there any risks to CosmoDerm® and CosmoPlast®?
CosmoDerm® and CosmoPlast® are very safe because the collagen used is natural, human collagen; therefore, a skin test does not need to be performed.
Are there any possible side effects?
There is a chance of bruising, swelling and redness, which will diminish over the next couple of days.
